Spread the cost of the Practising Certificate over 6, 10 or 12 months
Solicitors based in England and Wales must have a practising certificate issued by the SRA or be exempt from holding a certificate. Every solicitor seeking a practising certificate (PC) and every European (REL) or foreign lawyer (RFL) seeking to register is required to pay an annual fee.
The practising certificate renewal fee for 2017/18 is a minimum of £318 per solicitor with some bills running into thousands of pounds. Flexible funding does exist for practising certificates allowing law firms to increase cash flow. We can help legal practices control the available cash flow within the business. Once finance is in place we can adjust payments to coincide with annual renewals. These can be taken on a payment profile to work best with the business usually between six to 12 months.
