V4Bprofessions has launched a new initiative to help support the fantastic work carried out by local charity Nightingale House, by agreeing to donate £25 to the charity each time a new client arranges finance.

V4Bprofessions, which arranges business funding for SMEs is offering the charitable donation as part of the group’s 25th anniversary celebrations.

The V4B Group which also includes vehicle leasing broker V4B and fleet contract hire and maintenance business, Fleetsauce, is celebrating its 25th anniversary with a black-tie gala at Chester Racecourse on May 6.

Pete Hollingsworth, director of V4Bprofessions, said: ‘We’re delighted to be part of the V4B Group’s 25th anniversary and wanted to involve a local charity as part of the celebration.

‘Nightingale House is a charity close to my own heart as they helped look after my Mother during a very difficult time. The charity does a fantastic job within the local community providing palliative care and support to patients and families living in the area.

‘A donation of £25 each time we take on a new customer should go some way towards helping the charity continue its fantastic work.’

Nightingale House, also based in Wrexham provides specialist palliative care services, free-of-charge, to patients and their families across an area stretching from Wrexham, Flintshire and East Denbighshire to Barmouth and the border towns including Oswestry and Whitchurch.

Debbie Barton, area fundraiser at Nightingale House said: ‘Nightingale House is as firmly rooted at the heart of the community as it was when it was founded more than twenty years ago. Today, our services are caring for more local people than ever before and we greatly rely on the generosity of our supporters to keep our vital work going.

‘With the help of local businesses, we can ensure that we are always here for those that need us. We are very grateful to the whole team at V4Bprofessions, their innovative new scheme will go a long way in helping our hospice families.’
